Vaccinations ~

Located on the right hand side of this page are all vaccinations that have been given to your future kiddo, from the time of his or hers birth till now.  

Their next round of vaccines will be due when they turn 10 weeks of age. Each puppy will come with their own list of "given" vaccinations as well as a list and time frame of "upcoming", provided by our Veterinarian.

Their are a couple of kiddos that will be extending their stay with us, before they join their new families. We will continue their 10 week shots and our Veterinarian will provide us with a receipt for reembursement, if for any reason you would like for us to hold off on their 10 week appointment please be sure to let me know ahead of time.

Vaccination Record & Meanings:

• Distemper - This highly contagious viral disease is found wherever dogs are found. It affects the respiratory and nervous system and is often fatal. Primary caccinationn should begin at 6-12 weeks of age sence dogs often contract the disease at an early age.
• Adenovirus 1 & 2 - Type 1 infection causes infectious hepatitis which may lead to severe kidney damage. Type 2 can be a complicating factor in kennel cough.
• Parainfluenza - This is a viral respiratory disease is often partly responsible of kennel cough in dogs. Infection can be severe in young puppies.
• Parvovirus - This contagious viral disease usually causes devere diarrhea and vomiting in dogs of all ages but is deadly in puppies.
• Heartworm, or Dirofilaria immitis - is a potentially dangerous parasitic worm spread by mosquitoes. Dogs are the most common hosts for heartworm. It commonly lives in the right side of the heart as well as the lungs and the pulmonary arteries.
• Deworming - Intestinal parasites can cause many problems for the puppy. They can become malnourished, despite how much they eat. If they are always sharing their nutrition with their unwelcome companions they won’t grow well. They may have chronic diarrhea and vomiting and may never reach their standard body weight or muscle mass
